All Cyberpunk 2077 endings

The base game has 5 main endings plus the secret one. Triggered by your dialogue choice in the final mission Nocturne OP55N1. Phantom Liberty adds a separate path — covered in another guide.

How endings unlock

In Mikoshi (the final mission), Johnny gives you several choices:

  1. Trust HanakoPath of Glory ending (corpo Arasaka)
  2. Call RoguePath of Least Resistance (Johnny dominant)
  3. Call PanamPath of Stars (Aldecaldos, ride into the sunset)
  4. Let Johnny take overPath of Temperance (V dies, Johnny lives)
  5. Suicide optionDon't Fear the Reaper alt

The Sun (secret ending)

Unlocks if your Friendship with Johnny is high enough by the time you reach Nocturne OP55N1.

  • Get Friendship to 70%+ by completing all of Johnny's mission chain (Tapeworm, Chippin' In, Blistered Lands, Like A Supreme).
  • During Nocturne OP55N1, stay silent for 5 in-game minutes when Johnny offers options.
  • A new dialogue branch opens: Let me think about it.
  • Choose this → triggers the Don't Fear the Reaper suicide-mission ending: V solos Arasaka tower with Johnny.

Best ending? It depends.

  • Most upbeat: Path of Stars (Panam).
  • Most narratively interesting: Don't Fear the Reaper.
  • Hardest: also Don't Fear the Reaper — solo Mikoshi tower at lvl 30.

If stuck: if the silent option doesn't appear, your Johnny Friendship is below 70. Reload an earlier save and complete more Johnny missions.
