Ciphers are alien glyph collectibles. Each one decodes part of Atropos's history in your Database. Required for the Cipher of Atropos trophy.

Biome 1 has 4 ciphers

  1. Crash Site cipher — On a stone slab near the Helios crash. Unmissable; always there from run 1.
  2. Overgrown clearing cipher — In a small alcove off the main path, near the first weapon spawn. Look up — it's on a ledge.
  3. Yellow-sealed room cipher — Behind the Atropian Blade door. Open the door, the cipher is on the wall opposite the blade.
  4. Pre-boss cipher — In the corridor right before the Phrike boss door. Look on a fallen pillar to the left.

Tips

  • Ciphers respawn each run until you collect them. Once collected, they're permanently in your Database.
  • Use the scout log audio cue — a soft hum plays near a cipher you haven't yet collected.

If stuck: the pre-boss cipher is the most-missed because everyone is mentally preparing for Phrike. Slow down.
