How to open the Sewers gate
At the end of the Slums chapter, the path forward is blocked by a metal gate over a flooded passage. To open it, you need to drain the water using two wheels and a valve.
Steps
- Find the first wheel — it's on a pipe to the left of the gate, at cat height. Press triangle to turn it. You'll hear water start draining.
- Find the second wheel — climb up the pipes on the right side of the room. Wheel is on a platform near the ceiling. Turn it.
- The water drops, exposing a valve below the gate. Drop down and press triangle on the valve.
- The gate raises. Walk through.
If you hear no water sound after a wheel turn, you turned it the wrong direction — turn it back. The wheels lock once correctly set.
If stuck: the second wheel is genuinely hard to spot. It's behind a horizontal pipe — you have to walk past it on the platform and turn around.
